QUEEN BEE: 45% abv, Using our triple distilled Oat Whiskey used to produce our Queen of Hearts Whiskey. We start with our 75% distillate and add local honey, from an apiary on the other side of town, bringing it to a warming 45%. The higher ABV starting point allows us to increase the intensity of the honey flavors while maintaining a dry finish unseen in other honey Whiskey. Think “Honey Nut Cheerios” but for adults.

As someone who doesn't tend to reach for "flavored" whiskeys, thankfully this is not just some flavored whiskey. This is whiskey made with real honey. You can taste the natural honey in the blend and it finishes with the rich mouth feel and indulgent lingering aromatics that are singularly unique to natural honey. The whiskey still stings plenty warmly on the front and center palate, but the honey follows and takes just enough edge off. Makes a great summer porch sipper with a twist of lemon juice and some soda water, too.
